The Charity Ball held on Saturday 7th June 2008 at Kings Lynn was a huge success.

Simon Gale has informed me that the event that was in aid of Cancer Research UK, made at least £5000.00 and there has been a pledge for considerably more.

A huge thanks goes out to all that attended the ball and contributed to a wonderful evening and a great charity.

Martin Wiles writes:

" I would like to thank Laura Seward for all her efforts in organising the charity ball on Saturday evening. It was not only a fantastic effort financially but was so good to see over 100 club members together. Maybe as well as our annual dinner dance we could consider another evening where we could all get together early in the season. "
