Allhallows was the venue for Round One of the 2008
British Waterski Racing Championships.
Hunstanton Ski Club was well represented once
again with some great results and performances within their respective
formula's.
Team 'Tuff-e-Nuff' pulled Australian skier Ben
Gulley, who put in an outstanding performance to take first place in Formula
One.
In Formula Two, HSC was represented by Harvey
Robinson, behind boat No. 49, who managed to ski to a well deserved second
place.
Adam Murfet and team 'Hot Property' managed to
finished in front of the rest of the field, to take a win in Formula Three. Dan
List and team 'Rumpy Pumpy' achieved a well deserved third place.
In the Ladies racing, Lucy Gale and team 'Cool
Runnings' skied a close race with Natalie Scott and managed to finish just
behind in a respectable second place.
Skier Thomas Smith skied his first season in
the 'Juniors' category and skied well to finish 5th overall.
Well known member, Glenn Manchett, represented
the club in the 'Seniors' category and he managed to finish a creditable second
place with the 'Attitude Racing' team.
